Outside submissions

We do not publish unsolicited news articles or “byline” articles from outside firms. All of our editorial content is developed by our own staff or commissioned from freelance writers.

We prefer submissions from senior executives of healthcare systems and hospitals, insurers and high-ranking government officials, but do not automatically rule out others from sending in commentaries.

Due to the large number of submissions, we cannot pre-review ideas or guarantee publication for any submission. We do give every submission careful consideration, and if we are interested, you will ed.

Commentaries should be 640 words in length. They should avoid touting specific vendors or proprietary solutions. Those that are timely and avoid jargon have a better chance of publication. Any article submitted to us must be original and exclusive to
